7 weeks old and Ready for their new Homes
Here is Denise with Tanna, I had a lovely phone call from Denise after they had arrived home with Tanna. All the family were waiting at home for Tanna to arrive with balloons saying HAPPY 50th (sorry Denise) Tanna ran up the hallway grabbed the string of a balloon and ran back down to Denise dragging the balloon behind her! You could't make it up! Bless her! I'm so happy that Tanna is there as she is going to be very well loved.
This is Stacey and James with Milo. They live just down the road from me so I will be seeing him grow. They are so excited about getting Milo (especially Stacey!) They have been to visit him alot while he was growing. When Milo is bigger he will be going jogging with James and help keep him fit!
This is Steve and Sarah with my childrens Favourite Cuddly Boy Freddy. OOOhh nasty people taking Freddy! I know Freddy will continue to be pampered and loved by Steve and Sarah. The photo at the bottom is of Freddy in a box after my son tried to hide him! We may see Freddy again as Steve and Sarah holiday in Devon from time to time so feel free to pop in for a coffee. I promise the children won't hide Freddy!
Here is Ann and Mark with Larry and Moe. Hope you liked your Surprise Emily! It was supposed to be a secret but clever Emily found my site and has left some lovely messages and I think you probably guessed that your lovely Mum and Dad were coming to get them. I hope the terrible twosome are behaving themselves and that you can tell them apart now Mark! Remember seperate training is the key!
At last (Thank you again Steve) here is Yvonne with Gracie in Sheffield.
Gracie is very much loved by Yvonne and is sure to lead a very happy long life with as many hugs and cuddles as she wants. Gracie has her very own toy chest and has a special bed, but I'm sure she will most probably end up on Yvonnes bed!
Good Luck To You All in your New Homes.
To all the new Owners:
I'm on the end of the phone for any queries or advice.
If your circumstances change I will take the pup back which will not be sold on but donated to hearing pups.
Please ring anytime, you all know how I love to chat!
Take care and please send updates from time to time, all pictures are gratefully received. Poppy will be having another litter next year....so book now! I'm joking! There is a guest book below for comments.

Hi Sam
,
A little update on Tanna or now affectionately known as Padfoot, Tanni, Tannic, Tanz and the latest Hairy Mary! She is such a friendly happy little dog tail always wagging.

Its bedlam when the children are here the 2 year old and Tanna spend the whole time chasing about and tug of war over the soft toys.
Tanna does not see the point of the dishwasher when she is perfectly capable of cleaning the dishes!
She still does circuits of the garden runs through the patio door, springs off the rug & into your lap which I found quite amusing until I was holding a cup of coffee!

Remember that sunny day we had (I think it was called summer) well that's when I learnt that Tanna could swim, the children where all playing in one of those large pools about 3 ft deep,Tanna was flying round and round it barking because she could hear the children and not see them. Picked Tanna up to show her what was going on she went in the water and swam right across the pool, That was before she was allowed out for walkies.l

But what impressed me more that anything was that I have spent the last 9 years throwing a ball for Kez and fetching it myself!   The first time I throw a ball for Tanna she brought it straight back and put it at my feet!

Hope you are all well, still keeping an eye on your site, busy girl eh, loved seeing all the new pups, and it was great to see a pic of Milo, hope you get pics of the others.Have sent a few pics of Tanna over the weeks, the latest is at the woods taken this morning.   She really is magic and one of the best decisions taken.

Take care,

Tanna & Denise xxxxxxx

We're loving our new baby!! he's an absolute character and admired by everyone he meets. Thank you so much for giving him the best start. We'll be in touch when we're in the area so you and the kids can have a cuddle. Sarah xx

Dear Sam
Sorry about the delay, I only see Yvonne once a week, and the weather has been atrocious every day I went over, however in between showers this is the best of my endeavours
Gracey is wonderful, she is what I would call a REAL puppy, adorable, loving and very mischievous. She is very outgoing, friendly and greets everyone with the same boisterous reception. She is always hungry, and could eat for England, then again don't think I am telling you anything that you didn't really know
We cannot thank you enough
kindest regards on behalf of Yvonne and myself
                                        Steve

Hi Sam

Sorry it has taken all week to let you know how we are getting on.   I have had both hands full what with Mark being away.   We had an awful journey back to my sister's.   The M5 was closed so we had to do a detour through Bristol.   We finally arrived home on the Sunday exhausted.   The puppies were brilliant - they slept all the way.

Larry has become Harry and Mo is now Monty.   Emily and Matthew's jaws dropped and both were speechless when they were given the puppies.   I don't think they can still believe it.

Both have settled really well and come when called and sit on command!!   They have grown so much already.   Harry is a guzzler when it comes to food so tries to pinch Monty's.   I did think it was going to be Harry that would be the top dog but Monty gives as good as he gets so the jury is still out.   As far as their characters are concerned Monty is a bit more nervy and is always up for a cuddle. Harry is more independent and constantly on the go with Monty following along.

Both now charge up and down the garden right to the bottom.   It is a bit worrying when you take them out last thing at night and can't see them.   Fluorescent jackets would be a good idea. They are constantly chewing on leaves and twigs and I have had to move Emily's tomato plants that they acquired a taste for.   Her beans aren't doing too well either!!

I have attached some photos.

Hope all is well with you.

Ann

Hi Sam,

Just a little update and a few pics of Tanna, just a few out of the hundreds taken!   She obviously is adored by everyone who see's her,

I have a chime on the back door and even she knows that another friend is coming through it and rushes to say hello little tail wagging.   We have had to pass on the crate for night time she howled so much you would of thought we had brought Issy home and she was playing her flute on the stairs! She has mastered, running up the stairs and when we go to bed she runs up the stairs and lays on her bed cushion next to the bed and sleeps like a baby   -   bliss. She waits at the top of the stairs to be carried down.

She loves playing in the garden, Shadow and Tanna always have a couple of mad moments
charging around the room with Tanna hanging off Shadow's ear or tail and then a nice long   sleep afterwards.   She has an amazing nose for the cat food she even sits whining at my mums door hoping to grab a mouthful of food off of her cat, in the lobby she stands at the table, but cant reach yet..

On the Tuesday after we picked her up I took the other dogs up the woods, leaving Tanna with her food and toys in the hall, that wasn't enough on coming   home   an hour later she was in the lobby, she had popped through the cat flap!   very pleased to see us, the catflap is now locked.

She is now sitting at my feet, this is where she always is, She had her frontline today and was wormed she's going to have her second injection next Monday, the receptionist at the vet said to bring her to weigh her -just so she could have a cuddle.   She weighs 2.40 and eats   50g a day.

Sorry if Ive gone on a bit but you know what new mums are like!   I hope you are getting used to the peace,
of not having all the little darlings around and that Poppy is fine.

Thanks again for all the care and thought put into the puppies, I have the exact puppy I could of wished for, all thanks to the fantastic start you gave them all Issy and Isaac too.

Oh yes, she still comes running when called and sit's when asked too.   She pop's into the lobby for a wee or poo if the back door is open, Not quite 100% but we are getting there.

Kind regards, still keeping a eye on your site.   Take care, hope you like the pics,

Tanna & Denise

Hi Sam

Hope you are all well. Just an email to update you on our progress.

We have had Harry and Monty microchipped today and their second vaccinations done, so we are all set for taking the streets of Wheathampstead by storm next weekend.   Wherever we go we cause a stir - they have soft curly fur and everyone thinks they are so adorable.   I took them up to school and the children loved them.   They were surrounded by kids but they were so well behaved and really loved the attention.

The two vets we have seen have commented on how well adjusted and healthy they are. They sat perfectly still for the jabs and made not one whimper.   Both are putting on weight and are now over 4 kilos, Harry being slightly bigger than Monty. I have had to leave their different coloured collars on because it is getting increasingly difficult to tell which is which.

They seem to be the best of friends and the worst enemies, either snuggling up to each other or biting each other.   Monty follows Harry into trouble.   They pinch anything they can get their paws on, including a freshly made bacon sandwich that was demolished in double quick time whilst I was distracted by the door bell!!

Just on the off chance do you have any contacts this way?   We have had the offer of Mark's parents house in France for the week beginning 8th Aug.   We had not intended to go away but it seems too good an opportunity to miss especially as Emily has been ill.   I have tried to find someone to look after Harry and Monty that is personally recommended but to no avail.   I will not risk leaving them with people I do not know, nor will I consider kennels so it may be that the trip to France will have to wait.   Rather that than be worried they are not being looked after.   Unfortunately the two members of my family that would be ideal are unable to help.

We are all looking forward to taking them out next week on leads.   I am sure we will have lots of complimentary comments and a few wanting to adopt them!! We are all thrilled with them.

I am sorry you didn't manage to open the photos, I will try two again.   Let me know if it works - I will get Mark to do it next time!

Hope all is well with you.

Ann
